The CV-TEC Division of Champlain Valley Educational Services offers a wide range of services to the school districts and community members of Clinton and Essex Counties, including direct technical training on many levels through Career & Technical Education (CTE) Programming. All CV-TEC CTE Programs provide hands-on, real-world training in nearly thirty career fields, many of which directly ready learners for entry into work within the manufacturing cluster of Northern New York.

Clinton Community College (CCC) works closely with local manufacturers to sustain a thriving hub for workforce development and advanced manufacturing in this region. The Institute for Advanced Manufacturing at Clinton Community College showcases our region’s continuing commitment to build and maintain a solid workforce. They also boast the resources to provide customized training programs for companies expanding to the region. The two-story, 30,000 square foot state-of-the-art training facility became fully operational in September 2017 and is a joint effort between CCC, local manufacturers and Clarkson University.

Founded in 2018, RAMP is a full-time post-grad work experience program that gives recent high school graduates 12-months of diverse work experiences and a wealth of training opportunities with partners throughout the region. This program enables young adults to develop their skills, build their network and earn a micro-credential career development badge in Advanced Manufacturing from Clinton Community College.
