TDC is an organization that works diligently but often quietly. Over the more than six decades of our existence, we often encounter people who do not know exactly what we do.
To counteract this, TDC President and CEO, David Champagne, speaks about what the local community should understand about our work: “TDC is here for you and the community, to provide space, jobs, and services for people.”
TDC was conceived and structured to support the community, and that is our focus above anything else. From planning a year, five years, and ten years ahead in our strategy for this region, to purchasing land and making sure it is “shovel-ready” for new businesses to hit the ground running once they have decided to move here, our team is always working to make things better.
“We’re here.” Champagne says, “We’re involved in local, regional, and statewide matters. And it might not always be our own scope, we might be saying if we can’t do it, who can? There’s no ego to what we do. We are here to support you.”
If nothing else, it’s important to understand that TDC has always been and will continue to be here for the community.
