TDC NNY is excited to announce the grand opening of their newest state-of-the-art building, which will be home to their longtime tenant, Medisca, a global leader in the pharmaceutical compounding industry.

The grand opening event, held on June 20th marks a significant milestone in TDC’s commitment to providing high-quality, innovative spaces for their tenants. The event was attended by TDC staff, the Medisca team, local dignitaries, and other esteemed guests.

The new building, located at 626 Tom Miller Road in the Town of Plattsburgh features advanced facilities designed to support Medisca’s continued growth and innovation in pharmaceutical compounding. The cutting-edge facility reflects TDC’s dedication to creating environments that foster excellence and collaboration.

The grand opening ceremony featured a ribbon-cutting, tours of the new facility, and a reception where attendees had the opportunity to network and celebrate this momentous occasion. The TDC team was proud to be there to celebrate their longtime partnership and the addition of new jobs to the region.

As TDC continues to expand its portfolio of high-quality properties, they remain committed to fostering long-term relationships with tenants like Medisca, ensuring they have the best possible environment to thrive. This is the third60,000 sf building TDC has constructed since 2018, showcasing their commitment to economic development in the region. All of these buildings, which were planned to be speculative construction, had leases finalized before the buildings were completed, this recent project being the quickest building commitment obtained. The project was made possible by the County of Clinton IDA, Glens Falls National Bank, Luck Builders, and Robert M. Sutherland, P.C.

TDC President & CEO David Champagne states the organization’s commitment to collaboration with its tenants. “We are thrilled to be a part of the continued investment by Medisca in the greater Plattsburgh community, they will be an excellent addition to Banker Road Industrial Park. As our longest tenured tenant, we are proud to support such a significant growth in space and workforce.”

Medisca Founder and President Antonio Dos Santos reinforced that the organization’s plans in Plattsburgh are for the long term: “We’ve enjoyed our partnership with TDC over the past 3 decades, which is close to our Montreal head office but provides a gateway into the US. The new facility will expand our capacity and allow us to respond to customer needs for at least the next decade. The modernization of our workflows and processes will make this new facility an attractive place to work, and we are happy to remain a key employer of choice in the region.”
