In spring 2022 TDC and its partners came together to celebrate another groundbreaking ceremony. This is the second speculative build in the last two years for the organization. Through the work of our Board and partnerships, with regional organizations, TDC will add this new building to our current 18 industrial facilities within the region. In September of 2022, TDC announced that Medisca, a global company offering pharmaceutical compounding products and services, mixing technology, manufacturing, education services and more, will be leasing building #25. With 27 years in TDC’s industrial parks, Medisca is TDC’s longest tenured tenant.
Since breaking ground, the North Country’s Luck Builders have been working closely with TDC’s Facilities and Project Manager, Jay Bouchard and the chief engineer at Medisca. The building is expected to be completed by the end of the year and it will be Medisca's largest production and distribution facility. The new building is designed exclusively for Medisca's needs in pharmaceutical manufacturing and warehousing, with 26-foot ceilings, drive-in doors, loading docks, shipping and receiving offices, administrative offices and common areas. The project continues to progress through the collaboration of many contractors, it has made significant advancement since breaking ground in April of 2022. Electrical and mechanical preparation work continues to make ready for long-lead equipment delivery and installation and, racking is scheduled for delivery and set-up in September, 2023.
Luck Builders and their subcontractors continue to make excellent progress working on the significant, Medisca requested additions, to the TDC original design-build concept at Building 25.
