SUNY Plattsburgh's Career Development Center makes it easy for employers to connect with potential interns. Students and recent alumni look for internships and jobs in the college's career portal, Handshake. Employers who are hiring are encouraged to post their opportunities in Handshake, and can register at this link: Join Handshake. Once approved (typically within 24 hours), employers are able to post their openings and can specify skills and attributes they are seeking for each position.
The staff at the Career Development Center is available to help employers with this process as needed. Upcoming recruiting opportunities at the college include a Part-time Job Fest on September 1st, a fall Internship & Career Fair on October 20th, and a spring Internship & Career Fair on March 30th.
