TDC started 'Park Perks' last year with coffee. It was a way to get to know our neighbors in Air Industrial Park and vice versa; a chance for neighboring businesses to get to know us and what we do. Local employees and community members also had the opportunity to see that Plattsburgh is home to many international manufacturers like Michelin and Norsk Titanium. This year, we have expanded; the TDC Park Perks summer events are community and industry appreciation gatherings organized by TDC (formerly known as The Development Corporation). The events feature a delightful array of food trucks and other businesses, providing attendees with the opportunity to "break bread" together, strengthening community/colleague relationships through shared meals.
Park Perks serves as a platform for TDC to introduce itself to the Greater Plattsburgh region, allowing people to get acquainted with TDC's mission and activities. Simultaneously, it provides an opportunity for attendees to learn more the valuable contributions local manufacturers, TDC, and TDC tenants make to the communities and North Country industries. These events embody the spirit of collaboration and community building, reinforcing the importance of connecting with one's neighbors in a friendly and inviting atmosphere.
