Fall 2019 has turned out to be a very busy season for The Development Corporation. Over the course of the autumnal months TDC has celebrated the opening of new spaces, spoke at various events in the community, and added an additional staff member to its accomplished team.
You may have seen The Development Corporation staff in and around town at the United Way of the Adirondack Region, Inc. 2020 Kick-Off Breakfast, North County Chamber of Commerce’s Women in Business luncheon, or the Boy Scouts of the Adirondack District Good Scout Award Dinner.
TDC also played a role in the success of the 2019 North Country Manufacturing day. Serving on the planning committee, along with ETS, Clinton Community College, CV-TEC, NAmTrans, North Country Chamber of Commerce, and the Workforce Development Board.
This September, the community celebrated the grand opening of TDC’s newest building collaboration where current tenant Vapor Stone Rail resides. The new plant sits just down the street from the manufacturer’s pre-existing facility, which has operated in the town for 21 years.
The Development Corporation was a proud sponsor of the 2019 Distinguished Canadian Address. TDC’s leadership was present for interesting conversation with this year’s distinguished guest, Dr. Michael Hawes.
The Development Corporation (TDC), welcomed Alyssa Stoeckl as Digital Marketing Specialist in October. Stoeckl will help further the mission of TDC, to foster an environment that creates and retains quality jobs and investments in the community.
We are thrilled to welcome Alyssa to the team,” said TDC President and CEO, David Champagne. “As we continue to expand at an accelerated pace, it is as important as ever that we continue to tell our story, that we remain in dialogue with a diverse range of companies. The addition of Alyssa represents a continued investment in our vision.”
